Drawn Out For A Purpose

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

Have you ever stop to ask yourself “why am I here?” Have you ever gotten to the point that you have asked the question “why was I even born?”

Many of the Heroes of faith at one point or the other felt this way. Just as God knew each one of them, God knows you! God always knew that there was going to be a YOU!

Everything that God does, He does for a purpose and on purpose.

You’re not a mistake. You’re not in this world by accident or coincidence.

You were created for more than what you have been through.

• Despite your age,

• Despite your financial, situation

• Despite your job situation,

• Despite your social status

• Never mind what your mother, husband or wife said

• Forget what the doctor said

Don’t you dare allow the devil or anyone to keep looking in your spiritual rearview mirror and try to put into you words of failure or make you think that you cannot move forward with God; Your life may have been hard, and you may have not seen many days that you can call joyous. But I can tell you that with God you CAN MAKE IT!

You Have The Power To Bind The Devil

“Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 18:18

God gave us all free will. If we want to take possession of what He has promised, we must choose to obey and act upon His will, for He does not force it on us. Sickness is not of God. There is no sickness in Heaven. Poverty is not of God. There is no lack in Heaven. Selfishness, division, accusation, and hatred are not of God. None of those are in Heaven. These are all things we should not allow in our lives, they are an oppression of the devil so we should resist it whenever it comes our way.

The devil cannot do anything in your life unless you allow it, therefore, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Too many people resist only for a short time then quit resisting. If something is not God’s will then we should keep up the attitude that it is not acceptable. If there is something bad is in your life, it is only because you allow it to remain. You can decide to refuse and resist. Whatever you will put up with is what you will have. But if you decide something is unacceptable then it can change.

The Unfailing Love of God

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” Psalms 143:8

Everyday, we wake up with various plans and responsibilities in our mind. Some of our plans come into reality the way we expected and some may not. At times, your plans may go in vain but God’s plans for you will never fail.

Never forget to meditate on the Word of God, trust His unfailing love and the fulfillment of His promises. Surrender each and everyday to God and have quality time with Him; ask Him to guide you the way you should go and let Him show His wonderful plans for you.

Step Out of Your Boat

“Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. And Peter answered Him and said, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” So He said, “Come.” And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14

God allows us to make choices. His plan is that we would walk with Him in His realm of miracles, but He allows us to grow and develop until we are ready. He does not force us.

Peter was the one who chose to walk on water; Peter did walk on water and as long as he kept His focus on Jesus, he stayed in faith, but when he focused on the circumstances, he became afraid and sunk back into the natural realm.

Many times Jesus told us that all things are possible, if we believe; therefore, our limits are self-imposed, not imposed by God. If we change our beliefs to line up with God’s Word, we can see amazing results.

God has done great things through others, and He can do them through you, also! But you are the one who must choose to “step out of your boat”, leave your comfort zone and act on God’s Word. Trust in God and you will see miracles happen in everything you do.
