Fix Your Eyes on God

Fix your eyes2

“O our God, will You not judge them? For we have no power against this great multitude that is coming against us; nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon You.” 2 Chronicles 20:12

Jehoshaphat was a righteous king, whom the Bible refers to as a man who sought the direction of God and obeyed His commands. But at a time when everything seemed hopefully, his enemies rose up to destroy Judah. Jehoshaphat immediately gathered the people and cried out to the Lord. He acknowledged that the army was too strong and without His help, it would be impossible to defeat them.

Perhaps the same is happening today in your life. You look at the problems that arise in your health, your family, your marriage, your children, your finances and when you find yourself before so many difficulties, you do not know what to do.

It is at that time you have to decide where to fix your attention: the problems or God!

When you choose to fix your eyes on God, you receive strength, courage, self-esteem, determination but most of all, you receive direction – to know what to do and how to act before any threat. The Problems may have an apparent higher force, it can be an impossible situation to overcome; but God will give you ability to have dominion over the problems and overcome them.
